Aisling Psychology & Counselling Dr. Willa Litvack Registered Psychologist © 2011 AISLING BY: NETMATRIX Dr. Willa Litvack has been a Registered Psychologist since 1987. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Calgary and holds Master of Science degrees in both Counseling and in Developmental Psychology, Concurrent with her work in clinical practice she has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels at Mount Royal College, the University of Calgary ,York University, and Yorkville University. Dr. Litvack's  diverse background has given her an unusually broad perspective and wide range of skills. Her varied experiences  have bred a deep respect for the fundamental resilience and will to wellness within us, and for the extraordinary courage that is so often found in seemingly ordinary places. Dr. Litvack works with adolescents, adults, couples and families who are dealing with the gamut of life's challenges, emotional difficulties, relationship problems, transitions,  illness and other forms of loss.  She has a special interest in the subject of trauma, and works extensively with adults whose who have experienced  abuse, neglect, separation, instability, or otherwise inadequate caregiving during their childhood and youth. Her relaxed style of communication has made her a sought after ‘guest expert', and she has made a number of appearances on Canada AM, on Global News, and on TV Ontario.
