PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS Disturbances of sleep or appetite Disordered eating Sexual dysfunction Unexplained pain FOR MOST, TRAUMA BEGAN AT HOME In  2009, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention conducted a  study of adverse childhood experience.  They interviewed 26, 229 adults in five states.
